My Ayahuasca Journey and the Birth of a Stained Glass Spirit Animal Collection

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to take part in a transformative ayahuasca experience so close to home. This journey was not only a profound voyage into my inner self but also a catalyst for my creative endeavors. As someone who always found solace in art, I discovered new inspiration in the most unexpected way, leading me to create a unique collection of stained glass spirit animals.

The Ayahuasca Experience

From the moment I arrived at the retreat, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and sacredness. The shamans, with their deep wisdom and gentle guidance, facilitated an environment where healing and self-discovery were not just encouraged but inevitable. Through the ayahuasca ceremonies, I encountered visions and insights that peeled back layers of my psyche, revealing truths about myself and my path in life.

Creative Inspiration Strikes

Upon returning home, I felt an overwhelming urge to channel my ayahuasca experiences into something tangible. My mind kept returning to the owl, and the idea of creating a stained glass representation took root.

As a thank you to the shamans who had facilitated such a life-changing experience, I decided to create a stained glass owl for them. Their mantle, already adorned with various owl figurines and symbols, felt like a beautiful home for this owl. When I presented it to them, their gratitude and joy were beyond words, reinforcing my belief in the power of art to convey profound connections.

The Birth of the Spirit Animal Collection

The process of creating the stained glass owl was not only therapeutic but also deeply fulfilling. It sparked a realization: I could create a collection of stained glass spirit animals, each piece capturing the essence of these powerful symbols. Thus, the Spirit Animal Collection was born.

Currently, this collection is a work in progress, with each piece being crafted with meticulous care and intention. Every animal represented in the collection carries its own unique symbolism and energy, meant to resonate with those who feel a connection to that particular spirit animal.
